Wünderwein presents a range of wonderful German red wine varietals of exceptional quality and value. We source our wines from some of the leading German wine makers such as the Adam Trautwein Winery. Adam Trautwein, the grandfather of the current proprietor, established the winery back in 1920. The firm first started operating in just a small farmstead in the heart of the village and was run solely by members of the family. In the course of its history, the winery has been systematically expanded and modernized.

Notes from our Winemaker

“I aim to combine the best of the Spätburgunder and Dornfelder varietal to an enchanting, deep red cuvee. You’ll find aromas of forest berries and morello cherries on the nose, with vanilla undertones. Soft and silky on the palette, with nuances of minerality. Light and great depth with a powerful elegance.”
